Competition in the Wireless Environment:
How to Get More Handsets on More Networks
After more than four years of exclusivity with AT&T, Apple has signed a deal making the iPhone available through Verizon this month. Meanwhile, Verizon declined to sign its own exclusivity deal with Apple on the popular handset. Will this open the door to other, smaller carriers to get the iPhone in the coming months? And what does it say about the future of exclusivity agreements between handset manufacturers and wireless carriers generally?
Telecommunications advocates, policy-makers, journalists, top officials and the general public, all seeking to trade insights on these important issues, are invited to attend this event of the Broadband Breakfast Club, which includes full American and Continental breakfasts, for as little as $45.00, plus a modest registration fee.
This event is on the record and open to the public.
